Baldwin County woman sentenced to 20 years for homicide
Levia Pace, a former Detroit police and Georgia Department of Corrections officer, was sentenced to twenty (20) years for the death of Kadeem Simon. Pace pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter for shooting Simon in her apartment on February 25, 2017. Pace alleged that she had been assaulted before killing Simon. District Attorney Stephen Bradley called the crime "sad and disturbing." We have been honored to serve Kadeem's family through this difficult process. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
