Teacher convicted of Improper Sexual Contact in the First Degree
On June 11, 2026, Bonnie Elizabeth Brown was convicted of five counts of Improper Sexual Contact in the First Degree by a Greene County jury after a four day trial. The jury found that Brown had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old student while she was a teacher at Nathanael Greene Academy, a small private school in Siloam, Georgia.
