Brantley Convicted of Child Molestation

A Hancock County jury convicted Ronald Lee Brantley of two counts of Child Molestation on August 11, 2022. Chief Judge Brenda H. Trammell sentenced Brantley to 40 years with the first 30 to be served in prison. Once released, Brantley will be a registered sex offender and be supervised by the Department of Community Supervision under sex offender conditions. The District Attorney's office would like to thank Lee Stancil, the Hancock County Sheriff's Office and the Crescent House Child Advocacy Center for their work on this case. We would particularly like to thank the victim in this case for her courage in coming forward and to the jury who enured that justice was served.
