Burke convicted in Morgan County

Dontarious Burke was convicted on October 20, 2021 of Murder and Armed Robbery in Morgan County Superior Court. Burke was convicted by a jury of the November 27, 2019 murder of Kentrell L. Jones in the Morgan Circle area of Madison. Burke received a life sentence for the murder and 20 years for the Armed Robbery.

The case was investigated by the GBI and the Madison Police Department. We appreciate both agencies and all of their hard work.
