Greene County conviction on Milton Scott, Jr.

Milton Scott, Jr. was convicted in Greene County Friday evening for Felony Murder, Tampering with Evidence and Cruelty to Children in the Third Degree for the February 10, 2019 killing of his girlfriend. Scott was sentenced to Life in Prison plus two years by the Honorable Terry Massey, Jr.

The prosecution was led by Chief Assistant District Attorney Allison Mauldin and assisted by ADA Blayne May. The DA’s office is grateful for the tireless work of the GBI, Special Agent Niki Simmons, Victim Advocate Leslie Saunders, Intern Juliana Hightower, and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
