White convicted of Battery in Putnam County

Jeffery White was arrested for the offense of Aggravated Assault on February 12, 2017 after Eatonton Police Department was notified about an assault that he committed by striking the alleged victim in the head with a chair. On February 20, 2018, Mr. White was convicted of the offense of Battery after a jury trial. He was sentenced by Honorable Amanda S. Petty to twelve (12) months on probation with the first ninety (90) days to be served in confinement along with the other general conditions of probation. Defendant was to receive credit for any time that he had served in the Jail as determined by the custodian.
