Working to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault

The Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Domestic Violence Task Force met on June 19th at the Baldwin County Courthouse. Baldwin County Solicitor General, Skye Gess, spoke about their In Our Best Interest Program for victims of domestic violence. Introductions of the Victims’ Advocates for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit were made. The Guest Speaker was JoAnna Smith, Director of the Bright House – the new Sexual Assault & Child Advocacy Center. She spoke about services that will be offered through the Bright House.
