Putnam County plea on Torleados Butler ends with prison sentence

On November 4, 2019, Superior Court Judge Terry Massey sentenced Torleados Darvell Butler to 40 years to serve 20 years in prison, and banished Mr. Butler from the Ocmulgee Circuit for the term of his sentence. Mr. Butler entered a non-negotiated plea to aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon during a crime, and violation of street gang terrorism and prevention act. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney T. Wright Barksdale and Investigator Howell Cardwell with the Eatonton Police Department.
