On June 11, 2026, Bonnie Elizabeth Brown was convicted of five counts of Improper Sexual Contact in the First Degree by a Greene County jury after a four day trial. The jury found that Brown had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old student while she was a teacher at Nathanael Greene Academy, a small private school in Siloam, Georgia. Corey Hickey was convicted by a jury May 21, 2026 on a 31 count indictment which charged him with 3 counts of Rape of a Child under 10 years old, 4 counts of Aggravated Child Molestation, 3 counts of child molestation and 21 counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children. Morgan County Man Pleads Guilty to Rape, Child Molestation, and Sexual Exploitation Charges.
On May 13, 2026, a 22 year-old Morgan County man, Rashawn Richard Sorrell-Tomblin, pleaded guilty to one count of Rape, two counts of Child Molestation, and eight counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole by Superior Court Judge Terry Massey. Brock Sentenced to Life Without Parole
Joshua Andrew Brock, 38, was convicted of malice murder for the January 2025 stabbing death of Prince Porter. Brock and Porter were inmates at Hancock State Prison. During a fight between other individuals, Brock came up behind Porter and stabbed him in the back. The jury deliberated for approximately an hour before returning a guilty verdict. A Baldwin County jury convicted Milton McDonald, 54, of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the 2024 shooting at a Milledgeville residence located on N. Castro- Farfan Enters Plea to Several Sex Crimes
Jose Castro-Farfan pleaded guilty to statutory rape, incest, and child molestation in Greene County. Judge Stephen A. Bradley heard that Castro-Farfan molested a close family member for a period of several years. Thomas James Gregory was convicted of criminal attempt to commit aggravated sexual battery, false imprisonment, and sexual battery today in Baldwin County Superior Court after a 2-day jury trial.
